about the photographer
As the previous owner of a pet care business for many years, a devoted volunteer at PAWS, and the proud mother of 4 fabulous fur-kids, I have had the pleasure of working closely with animals on a daily basis for almost a decade. After receiving my BFA in San Francisco, my love for photography and my passion for the dogs and cats in my life naturally merged and those furry faces quickly became my favorite, and most challenging, subject matter. For the past 6 years I have focused on documenting their endearing personalities, charmingly silly nature, and priceless expressions.
After primarily photographing my own animals and the beloved pets of friends, I began including their people in my photos. I instantly fell in love with capturing these natural, candid moments on film. Each animal is unique in the way they share love with their humans, which makes PawPrints' approach so different from traditional posed photographs. I capture the moments you never get to see for yourself, creating a memorable collection of photographs that convey the true spirit of your relationship with your best friend.
